Public Relations
As Public Relations Manager for The Indianapolis Public Library, I partner with staff across the organization to develop strategic messaging that promotes programs, events, and community initiatives. I write press releases, annual reports, promotional copy, and internal communications while leading media relations, coordinating press events, and serving as a Library spokesperson.
As a freelance Communications Consultant with Cerulean Consulting Group, I create press releases, promotional copy, and social media content for nonprofit organizations and small businesses.
Photography
Every picture is a story. As a photographer, my goal is to capture both truth and beauty.
Journalism
I have worked as a staff reporter with The Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper, a photo intern for NUVO Magazine, and I have freelanced for many other publications. My passion lies in covering the humanities — art, music, literature, philosophy, religion —because these topics allow me to explore the unique, interesting, strange and wonderful side of life.
